Police are responding to an active shooter situation at a rail yard in San Jose, California. They have asked people to avoid the area, amid reports of multiple fatalities.
San Jose Police on Wednesday morning descended on a Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) light rail maintenance yard, stating that a “shooting” had taken place, and that the scene was “active.” Locals were advised to “stay out of the area.”
Units are currently at the scene of a shooting in the area of Younger Av and San Pedro St.
